About us

The Wounded Women Project (WWP) was established in Memphis Tennessee. The mission of this ministry is to reach broken and wounded women through a unique dramatization of personal testimonies from women who were once wounded themselves. The ministry’s goal is to move women from brokenness to wholeness through the Word of God and personal testimonies, as well as providing group and individual support.  The ministry also provides encouragement through friendships that have been developed, by ministering to hurting women.

Not only does the Wounded Women Project seek to help and uplift hurting women, they also strive to be a driving force in the community. The ministry fosters engagement with non-profit organizations. The Wounded Women Project has provided non-profit agencies with donations to help their mission. WWP donates clothing to The Old Path Ministries, a homeless shelter for abused women and their children, Catholic Charities of West Tennessee clothes closet for the homeless, provided a monetary donation to Give a Limb in Houston Texas, and have recently partnered with Rainbow Rehab in order to provide socks for the elderly.

The Wounded Women Project also donates cleaning supplies and hygiene items to the YWCA Emergency Shelter for Women and Children Escaping Domestic Violence. Care Packages and non-perishable items have also been provided to the ICan Project which helps the homeless in the local community.
